Tips and Tricks for ArcheAge: Unchained Beginners
30-June-2020 04:01
The original game ArcheAge was released back in 2014 and quickly rose to success, garnering many loyal fans. However, many players were turned away from the Pay-to-Win aspects of the game, so the developers decided to offer something new and refreshing. With ArcheAge: Unchained there is no longer a subscription model, players simply need to purchase the game and they can play as much as they want! Archeage Unchained Gold Making Guide for beginners

The Merchant’s life at the Auction House

The Auction House is where most (valuable) trades are happening, so the idea is to keep an eye on the good ones.

This method is all about seeing which people are in a rush to get money, and taking full advantage of that. But how would that work?

Well, from time to time, players will need some quick money. This means they will resort to selling their produce or crafted items way below their actual value. Once you spot a great opportunity like this, buy the loot and then resell it at a higher price. The method itself is pretty simple, but it does have some intricacies.

First of all, to be able to buy the loot from the Auction House, you’ll need money to invest. Bear in mind that you can’t just buy and resell for a higher price without accounting for the tax. You’ll always need to aim for a margin of 20% or higher if you plan on actually getting ahead.

Last but not least, ALWAYS avoid common items. Why? Because the Auction House is almost always flooded with those, and you won’t get any decent money out of it.

And most of all, don’t worry if an item you just bought dropped in price. Just keep it in the warehouse until the price inflate again.

Farming Gilda Stars and putting them to good use

Right from the start of the game, you will begin to gain Gilda Stars, either by leveling up, doing quests or doing achievements. The game won’t show you their real value right away, but once you start leveling up, you’ll see what they are really for. Gilda Stars are a special currency that will allow you to trade for blueprints of much-needed items. Basically, you’ll trade Gilda Stars for gliders, mounts, ships, houses and even furniture. So how do you make a profit with them?

Well, blueprints are always in high demand, and they need to be bought with Gilda Stars. However, once you have the blueprints, you can resell them at the Auction House for the usual Archeage gold. Oh my, I can hear those coins ringing already!

For this method, players usually create new characters, level them up to lvl 29 and collect all possible Gilda Stars. That means doing all main quests, zone quests and achievements. Then, they trade them up for blueprints and transfer them to their main account. After that, they delete the character and repeat.

You might be tempted to level the character further, since you’ll get even more Gilda Stars. Don’t do it. It only takes 24 hours to delete a level 29 character, but for a level 30+, it takes a full week. This method is quite boring, as you’ll be repeating the same quests over and over again, but it is also one of the most profitable.

Extra Storage

If you find yourself running low on storage you can buy the Otherworld Storage Chest from the credit shop. This chest is considered furniture and you can put it in your house. The chest comes with 100 slots where you can store all sorts of items that you don't want to carry around. The chest is also only accessible to you so you don't need to worry about another player sneaking into your house behind you, stealing all your gear, and selling it for ArcheAge Unchained gold.

Use Crafting Requests

ArcheAge is a grindy game by nature. You'll spend lots of time grinding up your professions to help you advance in the game. However, don't feel like you need to grind all the time. If you need to upgrade some gear but don't have the required proficiency, you can always post a request asking for another player to craft it for you. Players won't do this for free, of course. You'll have to throw some AA: U gold their way, but it's worth it if you don't have the time to grind or want to save your labor points.

You Can Plant Right Outside Your House

If you like farming but have run out of space on your plots, you can plant trees and other items right outside your house. Your house is on a plot that has a small amount of outdoor space that's available for planting, so you might as well use it.

Do you want to buy the rare item you've always wanted? Or perhaps you're looking to spend it all on that equipment/weapon set you've been eyeing for some time?
