Speaking to reporters, Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich announced that Luck missed Monday’s practice due to a minor foot issue. While Reich said the injury isn’t that serious, it is a lot to take for a fan base that is itching to see its starting quarterback take the field for a regular season game. With two backup tackles playing, Luck had to endure some shots that could’ve been avoided if the Colts had some consistency at right and left tackle. Castonzo progressing from hamstring issueThe Indianapolis Colts are about to get a much-needed boost to the left side of the offensive line. Speaking with reporters, Anthony Castonzo gave an update on his injured hamstring that has kept him sidelined for most of the preseason, and has placed in doubt his chances to play in the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. From Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star, the Colts starting left tackle will soon be on the field, hinting that he should be good to go for practice next week. With Luck’s foot injury — which occurred during a sack against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday — this is great news. With the right tackle spot still in question, the Colts have been holding on for dear life. Castonzo has started all 16 games in five of his seven years of service and has been pretty reliable over the course of Luck’s career. Let’s hope Castonzo and Luck will add another full slate of games to their r茅sum茅s this year.
