JERSEY CITY - At least 12 families have been displaced after a three-alarm fire tore through two buildings in Greenville last night.
The fire broke out on the third floor of 139 Wilkinson Ave. It took roughly 70 firefighters to extinguish the blaze before placing the fire under control

No injuries were reported

The top right window in the room where the fire began was completely charred out, with heavy damage spreading into the next building.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen from miles away when the fire was first reported
Marlboro Lights. Officials said there were working smoke detectors in the building and the arson unit is investigating the fire.
Firefighters have been busy in recent weeks on the south side of the city, battling at least three other multi-alarm fires since the end of January.
